It’s ok if you aren’t excited about the new year.

While it feels like everyone is celebrating the new year and excited, it’s ok if you aren’t.

It’s ok if you feel overwhelmed.

Even if things feel scary and overwhelming please remember, you’ve come this far.

You don’t have to have a list of goals and resolutions and you don’t need to change everything in your life to be happy again.

It’s one foot in front of the other, one day at a time.

You’ve gotten through all of your life’s hardest moments up until no , that is worth acknowledging .

If you want to make changes this year, you can, but take time to celebrate the you that has come this far and kept going.

You don’t have to do it alone. Often the most overwhelming part is we feel we don’t deserve help or that we shouldn’t need it. But we all need help sometimes and we all deserve it.

You are allowed to ask for help. Asking for help does NOT mean you are weak. It takes courage to ask for help.
