• Mindfulness

Did you know that anyone can practice mindfulness no matter what level or age,as long as you are fairly healthy. You can start by spending sometime outdoors in your garden or go for a walk. Even 10-15 minutes brief troll everyday is enough and effective. Notice heat you can see in your environment, what you can hear, what you can smell, what you can feel ans tune into any sensations taht you might feel. Taking sometime here to take in what’s around you, the peace, tranquil and sounds of nature such as the birds singing. Let thoughts come and go, just observe and acknowledge and let them be, let them pass without judgement. Notice your breathing rate, different areas of your body that you might feel your breath such as belly or chest and any warmth or coolness that might radiant along your body. Taking sometime here, its safe, secure and may bring pleasant memories, associations that you might have perhaps from the oast, visiting a favourite place with a loved one. You can always use your feet to ground you and come back when your feeling overwhelmed, remind yourself where you are and taht yiu are safe, secure here. You might have connections to belonging here, feel in tune with your senses here. Embrace ans notice any changes this season, different colour leaves, shapes and types and any other changes you may come across. Notice any parts of your body that might be tense and gradually realising the tension. You have time here without rushing to simply be, let be. You can focus on the present moment rather then worry about the past or future, just being here in the now. Taking each day as it comes, focusing on your breathing. Taking sometime here before you gently return.
