Chiropractic Care, Orthotics and Plantar Fasciitis Relief
Plantar fasciitis is a common cause of heel and foot pain, often linked to poor foot mechanics, tight muscles, or a dropping arch that causes the foot to overpronate. Chiropractic care can help by improving alignment and movement from the low back, pelvis, legs, ankles, and feet. When the spine and lower extremities move properly, the nervous system can better coordinate muscle tone and balance, supporting healthier mechanics during standing, walking, and activity.
For some patients, custom or supportive orthotic devices may provide additional benefit. Orthotics help support the arch, reduce excessive pronation, and decrease strain on the plantar fascia. When combined with chiropractic adjustments, stretching, strengthening, and proper footwear, orthotics can be part of a well-rounded approach to reducing plantar fasciitis symptoms and improving long-term foot function.
A personalized evaluation helps determine the best care plan for each patient.
